Based in Thatcham, Berkshire, Gowrings Mobility is the UK’s longest established company producing and supplying wheelchair accessible vehicles. We design, manufacture and market a wide range of vehicles that have been extensively converted to allow wheelchair users to travel in their wheelchairs as passengers.
Our success is rooted in our experience of working with thousands of families across the UK; our designs and our customer approach have been developed based on direct feedback from users with a wide range of mobility difficulties. We are delighted that 98% of our customers would recommend us to friends and colleagues. In October 2012 Gowrings Mobility relocated to its new factory; a site dedicated to the manufacture of a range of modern wheelchair accessible vehicles. The new factory represents a £1.5 million investment in a site of more than seventy thousand square foot dedicated to British automotive specialist manufacturing.
The site was officially opened by Paralympian Karen Darke who was interested to see the workmanship that goes into the design and production of a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Our Demonstration Team
When you are ready to assess one of our vehicles in your home surroundings, a member of our demonstration team will bring the vehicle to you to confirm that it is the most appropriate vehicle to meet your motoring needs.
Our demonstration team is not part of our sales team – their role is to show you the features of the car for you to assess its suitability. This service is free and carries no obligation, although we prefer not to sell you a vehicle without one.
