When the Centre was opened in 1987 our work was often described as being ‘Alternative Medicine’.
But the trouble was we knew that this didn’t really reflect what we were aiming to achieve. What we wanted to pioneer all those years ago and have created for you is … more choice as to how you look after yourself and your health all within a friendly caring environment.
The practitioners and Centre staff aim to deliver a first class professional service to all Centre users.
We always aim to be approachable and understanding, so if you are new to complementary health (or if it has been part of your life for years) you can always rely on us for an honest opinion and advice.
We are experienced in assessing and treating both routine and complex conditions.
Your choice is at the centre of our service.
With your permission, we are experienced at collaborating and working with your GP and other health professionals to give a truly integrated approach to your health and wellbeing.
The Centre has full disabled access available on the ground floor and to the meeting hall. At the moment there is no disabled access to the first floor due to the age and nature of the building, but consultation can always be arranged in fully accessible rooms.
Please advise reception of your need when booking.
There are two toilets available on the ground floor one with disabled wheel chair access and hand rails etc; the other has hand rails but no wheel chair access. Reception staff are available to help guide you to the most suitable facility. The stairs within the centre building are wide on two levels and have handrails.
