Registered Manager – Children’s Home – SEBD – Nottingham

Dove Resourcing is currently working in partnership with a specialist Residential Childcare provider who is seeking to attract a Registered Manager for one of its SEBD homes in the Nottinghamshire area.

This organisation solely works in children’s services – they have an excellent reputation and invest significantly in training and developing their staff so they have strong staff retention. This particular home has recently achieved an Outstanding at a recent inspection so is a good opportunity to join a quality driven organisation.

As the Registered manager you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the home and will help with the following tasks;

• Oversee support staff ensuring the home complies with all aspects of the Children’s Act & surpasses National Minimum care standards
• Conduct staff supervision
• Lead the Home in establishing a quality led service and ensuring all National Minimums standards and Ofsted inspection framework outcomes are fully compliant
• Maintain and strengthen the positive outcomes and quality services it offers to young people in the residence.

This company has a small portfolio of children’s homes across the East Midlands area and have ambitious growth plans over the coming year.

• You must have significant experience in the care sector working with children & young people.
• Prior management experience within residential childcare is essential
• Hold a full UK driving License
• Have the resilience and enthusiasm to take on a new challenge within a home with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
• Have positive outcomes for children central to their work practice
• Minimum NVQ level 4 in working with children & young people
• Applications are subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks.

Salary bracket between £30 & 33k per annum.

This is a full time permanent opportunity.
